Know your Vehicle – Read the manual.  Always be alert for strange noises, odors, vibrations, or differences in how your vehicle handles. 

Stay on Top of Maintenance – Change your oil, check your coolant, rotate your tires, and check your belts & hoses.  Changing your oil gives you better gas mileage and prevents your engine from overheating (every 3 months or 3,000 miles).  We also sell Amsoil, synthetic oil that allows you to drive 10,000 miles.  It costs a bit more, but you get better mileage, your car runs better and you don’t have to visit every 3 months.

Even though it all sounds complicated, there are ways to minimize your chances of being taken advantage of.  Ask questions, ask the mechanic if you can see the car on the hoist, and ask for the old parts always!
