Wheel Tips

We always recommend that a customer stick with what the manufacturer of the car recommends.  But if the allure of chrome is just overwhelming you have to know the lingo;

Dubs – 20” wheel

Double Dubs – 22” wheel

Dub Fours – 24” wheel

Spinners – Ornate wheel with a windmill like attachment that spins after the vehicle stops

Chrome – shiny wheels

Remember, that beside the comfort being compromised, there are safety issues.  There is not enough tire on the road.  They are prone to hydroplaning and the rougher ride can ruin suspension.  Shorter tires are less able to protect the wheels from damage.  And, if you hit a curb, be prepared.  But… If you really want them, and you understand, call me.  If we don’t have them in stock, they are just one day away.
